Niagara Falls

After having peaceful and relaxed night halt in Hilton Hotel (Albany), we restarted our journey to the Niagara falls which was about 6 hrs from Hilton Hotel. We reached Niagara falls by 4pm of 7th May. We planned for Sheraton Hotel in Niagara falls which was right across the falls. If you wish to visit this exotic place, you can hardly miss out below highlighted places:

• Maid of the Mist: Our first destination in Niagara falls. We were taken down the fastest descending elevator (forgot the speed :( ) to the bottom of the falls. The ticket to enjoy this exotic destination was $13.5 per person. Having reached the bottom floor of the falls, we were accompanied by the boat named Maid of the Mist which took us very close to the falls. The beauty of this place is we can see Canada and US connected just by Niagara falls water body. In case, you are a good swimmer and you want to try some adventure to reach Canada without Canadian visa from US, this place can help you :). Once we reached nearby to the falls, we were able to see huge waterfall from very near. On the way, we also experienced the glamorous beauty of the rainbow which was crystal clear.

• Goat Islands: After Maid of the Mist, we reached the hotel, got ourselves refreshed and at night around 8:45pm reached another point of Niagara falls named Goat Islands. This place is inline of the falls from the top from where they are just descending. Lights were focused at 9pm from Canada on huge falls falling from two places which was making the night very beautiful and pleasing. Nature music and beauty at its very best.

• Cave of the Winds: On 8th Morning 11am, we reached the cave of the winds. Another exotic location to experience light shower from the falls. Ticket was $6 per person. With the help of the elevator, we again reached the bottom and through the caves we reached extremely near the water body without any boat support. It was feeling of being at Himalaya and imagining about the Lord Shiva releasing water from his jata(hair) and that water falling on us. Niagara shower at its best. Cave of the winds as we had to go through the caves to experience the windy feeling of the falls.

• Sister Islands: Our next destination was 3 sister Islands. Another peaceful natures exotic place where we got the feel of being in the land surrounded by water body when we are in the middle of the land. Another ultimate place to visit in Niagara falls.

After having the ultimate fun with pleasing nature, we left for New Jersey. Drive from Niagara falls to New Jersey was 4 hours. Be hooked up, so that we can cover parts between Niagara falls and New Jersey.
