New Jersey and New York

On 8th evening, we left for New Jersey where our stay was in Raddisson hotel for 3 days and the rent over there was $272.55 including taxes. Another awesome hotel and place to be in.

On 9th Morning around 11:00am, we left for Staten Island where we had the fairy to take us to New York. Believe me, this was the best way to reach New York using the free of cost ferry to encompass around 500 people at a time. We enjoyed that a lot and also we got the glimpse of statue of liberty from very near on our way to NY. After reaching Staten Island, we roamed around the beautiful exotic city of New York. Following are the glimpses of things we did over there.

• Battery Park: This was our first destination in NY. The major attraction over there was the lustful greenery and also the orchestra crew performing for the public in Sun scorching heated day. To my surprise, they started with Indian national anthem with band and some american girls dancing on the tune of anthem. It was an amazing feeling which bought us back to home in-spite of being in the American land. The free of cost entertaining orchestra was the peculiarity about this park with greenery spread all around the park.

• Ground Zero: This ground is no longer ground zero. Construction is progressing at the rapid pace to erect one more tower in that place. Not sure, what they will name it. If anyone knows, they are welcome to give their feedback with name. It was a emotional moment to see the people who lost their life while surviving in the WTC disaster. Their name along with the photos were displayed who laid down their lives while surviving others. If such events happen, nation as a whole gets together and we smell the feeling of unity.

• Bull: The metallic and strong, steady bull is what many of them are looking out at. We also got chance to be with him for a while and take snaps with him.

• Wall Street- New York Stock Exchange: NYSE is indeed huge. The peculiarity over here was to see temple in one of the buildings in the stock exchange or building surrounding them. I got chance to observe that temple has found the place in wall street as we were going through the building structure. If anyone remembers which temple is it, you are welcome to comment for the same.

• Empire State Building: Our next destination was the Empire State Building ( One of the largest building in USA). We went for the sky ride in this building. Believe me, this place is worth experiencing than spending money on reaching the top and observing the city from top of this building. The entry ticket for the sky ride section of the building was $18 per person. It aroused the New York spirit. We had the pleasure of observing the exotic destinations of whole of New York captured in the mini theater through the virtual helicopter. We got the feeling of visualizing the whole of the city through the helicopter view.

• Kati Roll: Veggie lovers won't miss this place which is the ultimate roll destination with many varieties of veggie rolls including paneer, spinach, potato etc. After Kati roll, we went for Madam Tussaud's Museum.

• Madam Tussaud's Museum: Our next destination was wax museum in NY which marked the statues of many of the worlds renowned personalities including Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh khan. It was fun taking snaps with such personalities including American President (Obama) and his wife. At the end of the show, we had the 4D show which incorporated the feeling element along with the 3D view which was worth watching and experiencing. Lastly, we reached the relatives place who had new member in their family. Our dinner was over there.

• Brooklyn Bridge: Next day (i.e 10th afternoon) we went for the lunch in Indian street also known as Khaudra Galli (Monmon street) which is not different from India. It seemed like Americans are least aware of this place and have allotted this place to Indians to do whatever they feel like :) . We had lunch over there at Rasoi restaurant. The lunch buffet over there was amazing and it had many varieties. It was preferred not only by Indian but Americans as well. Next, we left for seeing off bhabhi to the airport. We went to Brooklyn bridge after that where we were on top and vehicles were running underneath us. It was one of the favorite destination for Bollywood movies and the structure was huge. Atlast, in the evening, we reached my fathers fast friends place and had dinner over there and back to Raddisson hotel to pack up.

Our next destinations are the various parks and the Grand Canyon of the east. Be patient to have more exotic experiences.
